ALHAJI SANI DANGOTE – CHAIRMAN
He is an established businessman with investments in key sectors of the economy including manufacturing, agriculture and oil services. He also sits on the Board of several other companies including Nigeria Textile Mills Plc, Nutra Sweet Limited, Gum Arabic Limited, Dangote Textile Mills Limited, ALSAN INSURANCE BROKERS LIMITED, Dan-Hydro Company Limited, Dansa Food Processing Company Limited and Dangote Farms Limited. He is also the Deputy Chairman of African Gum Arabic Producers Association and a two-time President of Lagos Polo Club in addition to being a professional polo player. In recognition of his sterling leadership qualities, he was appointed as the Consul-General of the Romanian Embassy in Nigeria. He is a member of several Chambers of Commerce, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Shipping of Nigeria and President of the Fertilizer Producers and Suppliers Association (“FERSAN”).
ALHAJI ALIKO DANGOTE (G.C.O.N) – DIRECTOR
Alhaji Aliko Dangote the founder of the Dangote Group, which he currently presides over as President and Chief Executive.
Dangote is a graduate of Business Studies from the Al-Azahar University Cairo Egypt. He started business in 1978 trading in rice, sugar and cement, before he ventured into full-scale manufacturing.
Currently, the Dangote Group has over 10 subsidiaries spread all over Nigeria. The subsidiaries include cement, sugar, salt, poly products, logistics, real estate, telecommunications, steel and beverages. New projects are underway in petroleum refining, petrochemical and fertilizer plants. The Group operates in 14 African countries including Senegal, Zambia, Tanzania, South Africa, Congo (Brazzaville), Ethiopia, Cameroun, Sierra Leone, Cote d’Ivoitre, Liberia and Ghana, among others. The Group’s core business focus is to provide local, value added products and services that meet the basic needs’ of the Nigerian population.
The Dangote Group has risen from its humble beginnings to win several awards at both locally and internationally. In October 2010, Dangote Cement Plc, one of the four listed subsidiaries of the Group made history when it became the biggest quoted company in the country following its historic merger with sister company Benue Cement Company Plc (BCC) and the eventual listing of the emergent company on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE). The Dangote Group was rated among Top 40 African Challengers in 2010 by the Boston Consulting Froup (BCG).
Alhaji Dangote, who holds the national honour of the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (G.C.O.N), has received several other laurels both within and outside the country, in recognition of his achievements and philanthropy. He is listed by Forbes magazine as a billionaire and richest African.

ALHAJI TAJUDEEN SIJUADE, GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR
Alhaji Tajudeen Sijuade is a qualified Chartered Accountant (1984) with experience spanning 38 years.
Alhaji Sijuade joined the Dangote Group in October 1989 as a Chief Accountant. Before then, he had worked for Nestle Nigeria Plc and Akintola Williams-Chartered Accountants. He became General Manager in the Dangote Group in January, 1998. In 1999, he was posted to the Group’s Cement bagging plant in Apapa, Lagos, as pioneer General Manager. In 2000, he was transferred to Eastern Nigeria to set up the Eastern Operations for the company. During the 3rd Quarter of 2002, he came back to Head Office as Group Finance Director. He was later elevated to the position of Managing Director, Cement in April 2005.
In July of the same year, he was appointed the Managing Director of Benue Cement Company Plc (BCC) with a mandate to turn around the company within the shortest time possible. He was able to achieve this within the first one year in February 2008, he moved to Dangote Bail Port-Harcourt as Managing Director. His primary assignment was to overhaul the plants’ equipment and upgrade where necessary, to achieve total output of three million tones of cement in 2009.
In October 2009, he was transferred to Greenview International Company Limited, Tema, Ghana as the Executive Vice Chairman of the company to complete Dangote’s cement plants in Tema, and Takoradi.
Alhaji Sijuade currently runs the Ghana Cement Operations.
